AdBlue® is a 32.5% aqueous solution of urea, made from technically pure urea, CO(NH2)2 and demineralised water with high chemical purity according to ISO 22241 (DIN 70070) for the operation of SCR catalysts.

Colourless, clear liquid with a slight ammonia smell. The solution is non-toxic and does not have an aggressive effect on the human body. Not flammable. Also known as AUS 32.

Application: AdBlue® is an agent for reducing NOx gases, required for use in catalytic converters with selective catalytic reduction (SCR) in diesel motor vehicles. Never pour AdBlue® into used containers (e.g. from fuel, operating fluids); otherwise, there is a risk of AdBlue® contamination and damage to the catalyst. Pour directly into the AdBlue® tank, never into the fuel tank!
